Piran, the little Venice of Slovenian Istra, is a picturesque seaside town with a unique mix of history, culture, and natural beauty. Our route will take you through a city where time seems to have stand still with charming winding streets and Venetian architecture. You will experience the flavors of the Mediterranean in Piran's seafood restaurant and discover the natural hidden corners of Piran's coastal landscape. While exploring the historic city, you will be able to surrender to the smell of the sea in the air and climb up to the Piran Cathedral, from where stunning panoramas of the entire city await you.
Join us and experience Piran in a completely different light. We will embrace the town as it was once surrounded by walls and admire the pearl of the Mediterranean from different perspectives than mass visitors. We ascend to the viewpoints that are hidden from the majority of tourists.
We will descend along the road to the lake in Fiesa right by the sea where we will take a short break. Next, we will return to Piran along a path by the sea, then to the church of St. George where we will enjoy the view of Tartini Square and the view of three countries at once. We will then descend to the Punta and the lighthouse, visit the 1st of May Square and the mysterious Jewish Square and then through the narrow streets we will reach the central Tartini Square.
We will stop at the hospitable restaurant Pirat Piran, where the "pirates" will serve us delicacies from the sea: a delicious cod fish spread and two excellent scallops, accompanied by a a glass of good wine. Lastly, we will listen to Istrian music and should you feel it, dance to its rhythm. Along this dance animation we will play a fun game where you can win an adventurous prize.
